The thing I've most run across -- and was true of myself -- is that most of us spent so much time & money on The Sims 2, and still got sucked into buying The Sims 3. We all thought, 'Sims 3 turned out to be so much fun, why bother with the expansions just yet?'WRONG. You might have asked yourself how they could expand on a game like TS3, but they did, and they did it WELL.Things I love about this expansion:- Mummies actualy startled me into making my Sim run away really quickly.- Basements. And without all the extra work. Seriously, it's click-n-drag now.- There are so many goals (read 'life-aspirations' for the TS2-ers) you actually don't get bored.- Huge improvement: the wishes don't repeat constantly. That's something that really annoyed me about TS2; you picked certain aspirations so they would behave a certain way, but you maybe didn't really care for thier career goals, etc. In this game, if they want to be a cop and you don't make them a cop before the wish expires, they want to be something else.All in all, it's pretty great. And the eBayer I bought it from got me half the retail price. It's SERIOUSLY worth the $20 or so.
